It’s cold outside, and Queenstown is buzzing, you can really tell that winter has set in. We have been blessed with lots of snow, and everyone is out and about enjoying all of the fantastic winter activities that are on offer. Here at Hidden Lodge, the guests are enjoying the vibe of the town, and we are ensuring that when they return home to the lodge after the days’ adventures, the guests are kept warm and toasty. Our manager Claudia has been busy preparing little treats like the gourmet Hot Chocolate Buffet and her sensational homemade Mulled Wine which are both to die for.
There are always plenty of amazing things to see and do while staying at Hidden Lodge Queenstown, but one winter event that stands out for the team is the upcoming Audi Quattro Winter Games. The games are returning to our little town August 25 to 10 September. This is an amazing free to watch event featuring freeskiing, snowboarding, alpine ski racing, cross-country skiing and curling. And if this wasn’t enough there is also the Winter Games on Mountain Music Festival featuring some of New Zealand’s top bands and DJs.
