During the southern hemisphere ski season, Queenstown welcomes skiers and snowboarders from June to October.
All four Queenstown ski fields cater for learners, families and advanced skiers and snowboarders, with one of the longest seasons in the Southern Hemisphere, running from early June until early October.
Queenstown ski passes range from single day, single ski area passes to season passes allowing unlimited access to multiple Queenstown ski areas.

The Remarkables

The famous Remarkables mountain range is home to The Remarkables ski field, an easy 35 minute drive from downtown Queenstown. A true alpine mountain experience, The Remarkables offers terrain and facilities to suit everyone from first timers to seasoned, expert skiers and snowboarders.

Coronet Peak

Cardrona

Cardrona is an easy drive or bus ride from NZ’s most famous ski towns, Queenstown and Wanaka.  These two lakeside destinations are surrounded by breath-taking alpine scenery and offer a dizzying array of activities, sights and sounds. 50 minutes drive from Queenstown.

Treblecone

Treble Cone, Wanaka NZ is the largest ski field in the Queenstown Southern Lakes District, accessing 550ha of rideable terrain. Covering a leg burning 700m of vertical, Treble Cone is recognised for its long runs and uncrowded piste and off-piste trails. 1 hour and 15mins drive from Queenstown.
